The Havana Salsa Festival celebrates the depth and diversity of Cuban music, with salsa—locally known as son and timba—taking center stage. These are the most dynamic and danceable expressions of Cuba’s rich musical heritage, and the Festival brings together some of the island’s most iconic bands for a week of unforgettable performances.
In past editions, the festival lineup—selected by fan vote—included legends like Alexander Abreu y Havana D´Primera, Pupy y Los Que Son Son, Adalberto Álvarez y Su Son, Elito Revé y Su Charangón, Maikel Blanco y Su Salsa Mayor, Manolito Simonet y Su Trabuco, Alain Pérez, Isaac Delgado, El Niño y La Verdad, Los Van Van, and more.
With our VIP package, you’ll enjoy priority access to festival concerts and an expertly curated schedule of exclusive music experiences throughout Havana. Every night is filled with rhythm, from open-air venues and late-night clubs to private performances arranged just for our group. As musicians and musicologists deeply rooted in Cuba’s scene, our team will take you beyond the stage to explore the heart of Cuban music culture.
Beyond the music, our tour includes rich cultural experiences such as daily dance lessons with top Cuban instructors, guided cultural tours around Havana, and dining at some of the city’s best paladares (private restaurants), including El Del Frente, Atelier, El Cocinero, and others celebrated for their world-class cuisine and ambiance.

Pricing and Payments
Prices are per person and vary depending on whether you select a Group Casa, Private Casa, Hotel, etc. Each tour has its own accommodation options listed on the webpage. Some tours are only Casas, and some could be only hotels. All options have a private room and private bathroom.
To reserve your spot, we require a $1000 USD non-refundable deposit (50% of the total price for private tours). Final payments are due around 90 days before tour departure. We have some options for multiple payment plans if needed. Just contact us and let us know.
The prices on our website are all in US Dollars and based on an ACH/Wire bank transfer from our 3rd party merchant or directly from your own bank. If you wish to use a credit or debit card, a 3.5% fee will be added. We do not accept cash or checks.
We have plenty of individuals, couples, groups, and families who travel with us, and everyone has a blast. If you have any special requests, please let us know. We will work with you to ensure you have the perfect space and feel comfortable during your stay.

Important info about this itinerary
*Flights arriving on Day 1 of the itinerary must arrive between 11 am and 12:30 pm EST to have included transportation. All flights arriving must come into Havana and depart from Havana. If you book a departing flight from another city and/or stay extra days, the transportation will not be included.
*We advise scheduling departure flights for late morning or early afternoon. The festival’s final day typically concludes in the late evening, and we wish to prevent any inconvenience or exhaustion during your return journey.
*All breakfasts are included. Other meals are on a per-day basis. We will include two lunches and four dinners. One night, you will be free to have dinner on your own.
*All music entries and reservations are also included.

What’s Not Included
International flights, Cuban visa, travel insurance, tips, personal purchases, and additional meals or activities during free time.
Cuban eVisa: Cuba now uses an electronic visa linked to your passport. It should be obtained online in advance before departure. Visa procedures and fees can change, and Cuban-born travelers may have additional passport or entry requirements. We provide current instructions before travel; contact us if you were born in Cuba or have questions.
