During this experience, you will take a walking tour around the Cayo Hueso neighborhood while visiting Cuban Religion practicians in their private homes. This cultural experience also includes an art tour of Callejón de Hamel and the taste of their authentic local drink “el Negrón.”
Who is Elias?
Your local guide and Cuban religion & culture with African background expert Elias Aseff Alfonso is a specialist on Afro-Cuban religion and former assistant to the Cuban artist of Callejon de Hamel Salvador Gonzalez.
Elias will show you around the Cayo Hueso neighborhood in Centro Habana and share the history and daily realities of music, culture, and religion in Cuba, especially in the Cayo Hueso, Havana.
We will pick you and your group up at your Casa Particular or Hotel. We will also take you back to the Casa or Hotel at the end of the experience.
